Hi.

We are needing a person or couple to caretake our home and two cats for up to three weeks in the Christmas period. It is roughly 10 minutes from Innisfail and the stunning Etty Bay and close to some other beautiful beaches such as Kurrimine Beach and Mission Beach. The home is a two bedroom, high-set queenslander-style home with a shop downstairs which is not currently operated as a shop. It is in a main street in a small country town, set amongst sugar cane fields and banana farms. The home features a commercial kitchen and has light, airy rooms with plenty of ceiling fans and air-conditioning. We have a large yard which can easily house a car and caravan.

Our main requirement is for the cats to be fed and watered properly, kept in at night, kitty-litter changed and for them to have someone around just to give them a pat every now and then. They are lovely animals and fuss-free. We just don't want to put them through the ordeal of travelling interstate again.

If you like animals, are responsible and are looking for accommodation during this period, then it could be a good result for all of us.
