We would prefer a retired farming couple, or someone who has good experience with cattle, to look after our farm and home. We have a large garden which will need watering, we have 2 dogs that will need loving care, 11 chooks, 10 sheep and about 40 cattle, including 2 bulls. No farming work required, just possibly feeding cattle and checking water points. We are in a lovely spot on the Peel River, near Tamworth. The Dungowan Hotel is not far away and serves very nice meals at weekends. There should be vegies in the vegie garden which our sitter(s) are welcome to eat, also plenty of eggs. One of the dogs is an older(9yr old) kelpie bitch, the other is a young cattle dog cross who is still just a pup, has a lovely nature but needs lots of exercise and interaction. Our house is an old farmhouse that has been renovated so it is pretty convenient and comfortable.
