We will be travelling between 7th – 15th April, 2020 (over Easter), and would love someone (or a couple) to look after our place. Our farm is in Lewis Ponds, 2800, in the Central West of NSW, halfway between Bathurst and Orange (about 25 km or so from each town – there are no local facilities other than sealed roads!).

You would need to be comfortable around animals – we have three dogs who live outside, two cats who come and go from the house, three horses (one large, two miniatures), two donkeys (middle-sized), 16 goats and about 100 or so sheep (goats and sheep are mostly self-sufficient). The pets need feeding once or twice a day, and the minders are welcome to live in our large house (would prefer that for the cats’ sake). The dogs appreciate company and exercise, while the equines are all friendly, quiet and like being fed!

The farm is quiet and has some amazing views, and the house is protected by a large garden – a great place to relax, or go for walks. Some of the pots may need watering, depending on the weather. The house is supplied by gravity fed, solar heated water, while a bore supplies water to the garden and stock. There’s also space to park your own vehicle/rig.

Security for our cars and farm machinery is also important.
