We live in a 1900 single fronted federation bungalow in Marrickville, NSW. The house has a park nearby, and is within 5 minutes walk from Marrickville Station and shops. We are less than 10 km from Sydney CBD. (15 mins on the train).

We have two older cats and three younger chickens in a run in the yard. We are looking for a sitter who will look after them and our house for three weeks while we are away from mid afternoon on 4th – to the evening of 25th July.

The cats need to be fed separately, or one will get very fat and the other very thin! Plus one cat requires daily oral medication.

The chickens need checking on, food and water topping up – and eggs collected (a perk of the job, of course) And a weekly clean out of the hen house.

There are also plants that might need watering if there is no rain. And a compost bin for any garden/veg waste the chickens don’t eat.
