We have a large, lovely house on acreage on the outskirts of Townsville. It is 15 minutes' drive to the nearest supermarket and shopping centre and 20 minutes' drive to beaches and the Strand (Townsville's beautiful foreshore development).

Our house has a swimming pool, air-conditioned bedrooms and air-conditioning in the main living areas.

We are hoping to find a person who is able to look after our dog, our cat and our two pigs. The dog and cat are inside/outside animals who are low-maintenance. While the dog enjoys a walk, he does not require it because he has so much space to run around in. The pigs have been hand-raised since they were babies. They live in a large, outdoor enclosure and require feeding once a day, but no other care.

We have a person who does some yard work for us each week and this will continue while we are away.

After our house sitters leave, we have other people staying in the house for a few days before we return. We will ensure the house is beautifully clean when our house sitters arrive and it is very important to us that it handed over to our next guests in the same condition.

We are hoping to find some great house sitters who will enjoy a stay in tropical North Queensland!
