Our home is 15klms from the CBD in Bendigo. We live on a half acre and have a Jack Russell dog and some chickens. Maggie, the dog, is older, and loves people, but isn't great with other dogs. Need someone to care for her. She's actually very low maintenance, just likes company. Maybe take her for a short walk occasionally, but that is optional. Keep on eye on the chook food and water and collect the eggs. Gardens are under irrigation, so minimal effort required there. Maybe put a sprinkler on the grass if it is really hot. Lots of veggies in the garden, so help yourself and collect what's ready. Room to get a small caravan in the yard. Entrance to the yard makes it difficult for a big van.
