We would prefer an active retired couple who love pets and gardening. We live in a big old house on a working mixed farm (grain and cattle) in the Scenic Rim shire approx 80 km south west of Brisbane. Housesitters would be asked to water and mow a large garden and look after an active young dog and a grumpy cat. Farm maintenance is not required. Grey nomads with or without a pet or two are welcome. There's plenty of space to park your vehicle(s) and for pets to run around, (as long as they don't chase the cattle). This is a beautiful part of Australia, and Brisbane, Mt Tamborine and the Gold Coast are all an easy drive from here. We are just 4km from Kalbar and 10km from Boonah. Both small towns are super friendly with every amenity, and the area has two big dams, mountains, and every type of outdoor activity.
