Apologies if you expressed an earlier interest in this posting, and didn't receive a response from us - we have had a few internet and email issues, which lost us a whole lot of incoming mail. Belrose is a leafy suburb on Sydney Northern Beaches 'hinterland', that is to say, about 15 minutes drive to Dee Why and the coast. We live 5 minutes' walk from the recently rebuilt Glenrose Shopping Centre, Glen Street Theatre and brand new Belrose Library. The area is primarily family dwellings, in a peaceful environment, only 30 minutes drive from Sydney CBD, in off-peak traffic (peak is more like 60-75 minutes). Our house is a classic AV Jennings three bedroom, with renovated bathrooms and kitchen and a fourth bedroom/home office. We have a well-stocked garden and plenty of potted plants!

We have a male black cat called Sox, who we keep in every night, and an elderly white bantam called Dolly. She goes in at night too. House-sitters obligations would be to let Sox out at 6-6.30am, open Dolly's coop to let her out, feed both, water gardens and pots when necessary and then feed and corral both Dolly and Sox, when the sun goes down.
