We, Alan and Rosanne, are a retired couple living in the beautiful Yarra Valley at Wandin North, Victoria, a fifteen minute drive from Lilydale railway station and within a 20 to 30 min radius of Warburton, Healesville and the Dandenongs. Local wineries are just around the corner.

We have one dog, Hannah, an adorable six year old Nova Scotia Duck tolling retriever. As we are fully retired, we require sitters who are either fully retired or can work from home, as our dog is used to having company 24/7.

We live on a third of an acre with an extensive vegetable patch and small orchard, boardering on a strawberry farm. As we would like to travel mainly during the Victorian winter months, the garden will require little or no maintenance.

We are lucky enough to live close to the Warburton Rail Trail and this is where we take Hannah for daily walks.

Our only form of heating is a wood heater, but we have always found this to be very effective and cosy. It is not difficult to operate and of course we will make sure there is an ample supply of wood.

We are looking for a sitter for July and August 2018, but are also interested in hearing from people who are available at other times, as we like to take shorter trips as well.
