We are taking a six week trip to Europe next year (dates above) and are looking for a couple to take care of our beautiful heritage home in Maryborough, Queensland.

Maryborough is a country town approx three hours drive north of Brisbane, half an hour from the coast at Hervey Bay. Your stay here would be relaxing and peaceful, no pets to care for (except the goldfish in the pond) only responsibilities would be the house and third of an acre garden.

No mowing (that is done by a pro) but lots of flowers, so if no rain, some watering would be essential. The house is very large (built between 1870 - 1890, fully restored) but there is a house cleaner who could continue to come once a week, unless you preferred not. We have a pool, which might need the water topped up once or twice if there's absolutely no rain, ditto with the pond, and leaves scooped, but a pro comes once a month to do all the tricky stuff. And that's about it really!
