We are looking for a house-sitter to look after our house for approximately 2 weeks. This is the first time we've ever looked for a house-sitter so if I've left out any important information please just ask. It's a large house on a few acres. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat. Our ideal house-sitter is a person/people who are laidback, love animals and can handle a giant (friendly) dog. Our dogs are the main reason we are looking for house-sitters as I want them to have people at home with them rather than going to kennels. They don't require walks and are very easy to take care of. The cat is even easier. The house is an older house and we are doing up some of the five bedrooms so we only have one bedroom (and an office) available for the house-sitters. Although it's not the fanciest of houses, we do have a few great benefits.

ABOUT THE HOUSE -

It's located 15 minutes from Toowoomba (QLD) and because it's rural, you don't have close neighbours.

There's heaps of space to park anything you need.

It's a two story house.

Has a bath and shower

Also a newish front loading Washing machine and dryer.

We have foxtel (most channels).

Heaps of movies and tv shows (incase you and the dogs want to hang out watching tv all day)

250gb of internet,

Big tv,

Big lounge,

The downstairs rooms (Kitchen, loungeroom, laundry, toilet and bathroom are fairly large).

And an outdoor spa.

Because it's just two weeks, the only things we want our house-sitters to do, apart from giving the dogs lots of love, is a quick vacuum (a mop if you're very keen) and try and keep it basically tidy. We're very laid back and just want real animal lovers to live here.

Please bare in mind that our big dog (the other two are medium breeds), who weighs 40kgs, can be a handful when he's happy. We want potential sitters to know that due to his size, it might not be best to apply if you have young children.

We also require you to meet with us at least once before we leave as the dogs need to get to know you whilst we're here.
