We are looking for cat loving house sitters! We live in a beautiful home in Cockatoo, just outside of The Dandenong Ranges.

About the house:

Our home is really cozy with ducted heating and a Coonara wood fire heater. There is a nice open lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry, bathroom, main bedroom and 2 other bedrooms. 1 set up as a study, the other as a spare room. There is also a large backyard, with really nice views from the home.

About the location:

If you love nature, cafes, etc then you'll enjoy being in Cockatoo. The town here is small but there are great places to eat in Gembrook, Emerald or The Dandenong Ranges. There is also many forest walks around and tourist attractions.

What we are looking for in a sitter:

Responsible sitters who will treat our home as their own. Sitters who will make sure that the house is kept clean and tidy. Sitters who won't throw parties etc in our home. Sitters who are trustworthy, fun, happy, nature loving people. Oh and must be cat lovers. :) Recent police check required.

We have 2 males cats aged 1 1/2 and 3. They are both adorable and a little quirky. Especially Kimba our younger cat. They sleep a lot as cats do, but do have their crazy outbursts and play with each other at random times of the day. They are indoor cats only due to the 24 hour curfew in Cockatoo, so we'd be looking for house sitters who are responsible enough to make sure they don't go outside at all. If you are happy to, they will eventually love to sleep on the bed with you at night, but if not, they will still be happy sleeping in their own beds.
