We are looking for a house sitting couple to care for our big beautiful Dog Tyra, our 4 chooks and our home for a few weeks.

Tyra is a rescue dog that has an amazing survival story. She was found starving and with a deformed leg. We have rehabilitated her through major surgery and have been rewarded with a very loving gorgeous companion. She loves people and is used to having company during the day and evening hanging out with us indoors. She still has lots of silly puppy exuberance and is a big strong dog. She loves a walk and a run at the dog park.

So we are looking for house sitters that are:

Able to manage a big boisterous dog

Home most of the time day and night

Willing to walk her (and perhaps drive her to the dog park)

There are also 4 easy to care for chooks that are just a bit spoiled and will repay a daily chat and some kitchen scraps with delicious fresh eggs for you to enjoy.

Our 4 bedroom home with pool is hidden away in a delightful private garden oasis. Part of our home is also our art studio. The large guest suite with ensuite is in the part the home that we run as a bed and breakfast - Georgie's Boutique BNB, so is beautifully appointed with everything to make your stay comfortable and luxurious. The BnB would not operate during your stay so you would have the place to yourself. Just ask and we can send you the link to our website.

The garden while lush and beautiful is fairly easy care with automatic watering system for most areas a little bit of hand watering including a few potted plants and two small lawns.

Familiarity with pool care would be a preference - we can provide good instructions and it is pretty straight forward.

Canberra is a lovely place to visit with stunning art galleries beautiful nature parks and a very good wine district just a few of the options.
