We have a dog (a Boxer) who is well trained, very gentle and quiet - he is very people-orientated so is inside when people are home and sleeps inside at night. He is fine to be outside during the day whilst people are out and about (we both work full time) but will cry/bark/howl if left outside when people are inside. We need someone who is happy with a dog that will probably want to sit on the couch next to them. He requires walking daily - 45 minutes is fine for him. One walk a day is fine (or 2 shorter walks if needed) - he sleeps most of the time if he's had his walk. We also have 2 cats - they are inside cats mostly (so make sure you don't have allergies!) but will come and go outside as they please through a cat door. They are both friendly. We have a pool which sitters are welcome to use. The garden is pretty low maintenance as we have automatic watering systems and it's only a few pots that will need watering.
