We have a 60 acre hobby farm 10kms outside of Cardwell with cattle, horses, parrots, dogs, cats & chickens, as their is quite a bit of work involved caring for our farm we are willing to negotiate payment for a House Sitter. All animals require feeding & some handling of the horses - one horse is a special care as she has Anhydrosis (can't sweat) and needs to be hosed down if it is very hot day. The parrots require a lot of fruit to be cut up each day, & range from small to large Macaws, no handling of birds required other than feeding. We have two small house dogs that stress a little when we are away and a couple of shed cats & chickens are self explanatory. Cattle require hay to be tossed to them daily. The house is a 3 bedroom queenslander with a small granny flat in the shed and there are many National parks & swimming holes in the area.
