We are looking for a house sitter with rural experience as we have a number of sheep, goats,chooks, budgie, galah and a very needie boxer cross dog. Our home sits on the top of a valley overlooking sweeping rural views in 3 directions and has a wonderful deck to enjoy your relaxation time. We are situated 15km from the large rural town at Mt Barker in the Adelaide Hills and about 18kms from the wonderfully eclectic township of Strathalbyn in the Langhorne Creek wine region. With off-grid solar power and no mains water...only rainwater, you will also have a need to appreciate the small lifestyle adjustments necessary to avoid unexpected "issues", but if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy nature and write you thesis or bring your horse for a memorable holiday for 2 months...please contact us!
