We are heading off to the Gold Coast for Christmas with family and I am looking for a house sitter for this period of time.

I am flexible with dates as I have not booked flights yet as I want to find a house sitter before I do so. I was thinking about going for the week, with flexibility as to New Years, Preferably I would spend New Years on the coast but i know Christmas is such a busy period so I am flexible with my house sitter.

About the sit: our house is about a year old so little maintenance. Our house is modern with aircon and a dryer etc.(aka the comforts of a darwin house in the wet season).

Our pets are our main concern, we are really looking for animal lovers. Our dog is a staffy cross and still very puppy like with high energy. We are looking to get another dog soon but haven't chosen one yet - so it is likely that the two will spend alot of time outside together.

Our dog is an inside and outside dog, and normally spends the day outside but comes in at night and sleeps on her mat.

We also have a cat that is very relaxed, he is a Burmese and loves humans and being held etc. he's so relaxed sometimes we forget he is here. But he is an inside cat - which he is completely used to and he lounges around the house. He has his own room with the kitty litter so its not in the laundry etc.

We are looking for sitters with no kids (our dog is good with kids but never lived with kids).
