There are two dates of departure and arrival: approximately the 15th of January 2017 to the 29th of January (short trip to South-east Asia), and then approximately the 17th of July 2017 to the 23rd of January 2018 (long trip to many countries). Our wish is that the same house-sitter(s) will take both time-frames, using the January time as a ‘training’ for the big trip.

We are looking for a person (people) who will do the following: care for our lovely gardens (on two acres of rolling hills – two-thirds of which only need grass-cutting); mind our affectionate, well-behaved 10 year-old KelpyX dog; and, very importantly, manage our successful Bed and Breakfast (stone cottage built in 1870 in the historic town of Northampton, Western Australia). You can live in our two-storey house which is located 5 meters across the deck from the B&B. We offer a substantial commission for conscientious, honest applicant(s). We have been in business for 19 years and had great success last year in July under these conditions with a couple via Housesitters.com. We encourage you to come early for training and stay late and explore the town and surrounds whilst here. The arrangement will be rent-free, utilities bill-free, but you pay for your own food, private phone bills and other personal needs.
